This seminar will review and explore the three domains of the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System: Health Inspections, Staffing and Quality Measures. You will learn how the rating is calculated and how to analyze your data. Common obstacles to 5-Star status will be discussed along with tips and strategies for advancing facility performance. Updates related to the use of staff turnover and weekend staffing levels data used for the 5-Star Rating as of July 2022 will be covered in this session.
